Simona Weinstein is the founder of Indigo Art Therapy and an experienced Art Therapist, Relationship Counsellor and Supervisor with nearly 20 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults and families. She has worked across mental health, education, disability, community and palliative care settings, including roles with the Department of Education, Albert Road Clinic, Federation Square, Monash Council and the Department of Health and Human Services.
Simona’s work integrates art therapy, counselling and trauma-informed practice to support emotional wellbeing, resilience and meaningful change. She has extensive experience working with grief, trauma, relationship challenges, autism, school disengagement and life transitions, and has developed and facilitated therapeutic programs for schools, hospitals, community organisations and government services.
Known for her warm, insightful and collaborative approach, Simona creates a safe and reflective space where clients can deepen self-understanding, strengthen relationships and reconnect with their capacity for growth, healing and meaningful change.
