In partnership with schools across Melbourne and beyond, Indigo Therapy Group delivers creative art therapy programs designed to reduce disengagement, boost emotional wellbeing and increase students’ sense of belonging within their school community.
We understand that when students feel connected, supported and part of something bigger than themselves, their confidence grows, their attendance improves and their capacity to learn expands. Art therapy offers a powerful and enjoyable pathway to re-engagement.
School belonging is not just nice to have. It is a key protective factor for attendance, mental health and future success. When students feel seen and valued, their motivation and participation can shift dramatically.
Our creative workshops provide students with a safe, structured and evidence-informed space to:
Students share without having to open up verbally, which is vital for those who struggle with traditional talking based supports.
A 10 session series designed to help students feel buoyant, empowered and reconnected with themselves and their school community.
Looking to give your child a supportive space to build confidence, strengthen friendships and develop practical life skills?
Our small-group programs at Indigo’s Sage Studio in St Kilda combine creative arts therapy, mindfulness, movement, discussion and experiential activities to help young people navigate the challenges of adolescence in a safe and engaging environment.

I watched a student who never spoke in class slowly step forward. She now shares her ideas, asks questions and joins group discussions with confidence. The shift has been incredible.
